My main purpose of posting this review is the Stop Light Observations. If you ever get a chance to see this band do it! Heard a couple songs on Spotify and I liked them but once I saw them live and did a deep dive into the band and their music I have become obsessed. The Georgia theatre was awesome for sure. Beautiful venue, great vibe, well run but Stop Light Observations was what made it a night memories are made for.

Our first time here for a concert and I really hope it will not be our last. We enjoyed everything about this place from the location to the places to eat nearby and I can not forget about parking. The best part was how personal the concert felt. So much fun! Thank you for a great time!

This was a great show! We went to see George Clanton, and he was amazing! The lights and fog were very trippy, and it truly made you feel like you were in another world. We arrived early, so we got a spot right in the front, which made everything better. The volumes weren't overbearing, and the whole atmosphere and vibe really made the show for my best friend I so amazing! My best friend is a much bigger fan than I am, and it was amazing to see someone get that hyped for a live performance. The venue itself was spectacular! There was plenty of room for everyone, and while the drinks were high, I made sure to give our waitress a good tip since she was serving the entire show by herself. I would definitely go back if they host another artist one of us would like to see! 5/5 for sure! Check out my other reviews for some truly exceptional places to eat in this area, like Big City Bread Cafe!

I love seeing shows at this historic venue. It has great acoustics, lights, and good views wherever you stand. It’s a far drive from where I live but absolutely worth it. Some of my best music memories were formed at the Georgia Theater.

This place is amazing! I attended a concert and the acoustic sound is very good! It's also very small and cozy, giving you that intimate feeling, has two bars on the concert floor, and a rooftop bar as well. There is a holiday Inn express three blocks down, and it only makes a 10 minute walk to your venue! I would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic music venue. Small, intimate setting gives you the opportunity to get up close and personal with the show. We had the privilege of seeing Mitchell Tenpenny and Tyler Braden at this venue. Both are incredible talents. It was a great show. We will definitely watch for opportunities to return to this venue.

Love the Georgia Theater! Always been one of my favorites for great shows, not to mention that it's one of my favorite places I've ever played! The sound and acoustics are great whether you're on the floor or in the balcony. So glad she was rebuilt after the fire! The Rooftop is pretty awesome, too! The Georgia Theater is one of those iconic places that you have to see a show in Athens.

Love going to concerts at this historic theatre. The drinks are always cold, great views no matter where you located in the venue. And they also have a vibey rooftop bar with outdoor seating. If you are attending a show here at the theatre you’ll have a great time!

Went to see Matisyahu. His performance was stellar especially the song with his son. The theater is a landmark and you should try to go to see someone perform there because of its size it feels so personal of an experience.
